The appearance of USB provides a unified interface standard for different peripherals, and has been widely used for its advantages such as high speed, low power consumption, support for plug and play (Plug & Play). At present, the transmission speed of the USB2.0 standard has reached 480Mb/s, which is enough to meet the requirements of the large amount of high data transmission equipment. Based on the EZ-USB FX2 Cypress control chip, the paper uses FPGA and SDRAM to constitute a large capacity FIFO (advanced first out), which can realize the high speed transmission of data stream, and the hardware circuit design and VHDL FPGA program written in the interface are described in detail.
